freeee foundation emphasis is that all people should be treated similarly, unhampered by artificial barriers or prejudices or preferences. Chances should be open to everybody such that they have “an equal chance within the framework of goals and the structure of rules established.” The idea is to remove arbitrariness. We firmly believe that all lives are equal.

freeee foundation, through its network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. We aspire to turn compassion into action so that:
...all people receive care, shelter and hope;
...our communities are hygenic, healthy and ready and prepared for disasters;
...everyone in our country has access to education;
...all people act as an enabler for women empowerment and equality of rights
...all elderly and disabled people
find support and comfort whenever needed; and
...our communities are cognizant of protecting the environment.
The following principles apply to the programs and projects governed by freeee foundation. While each program has its own areas of focus, as a whole, we adhere to six funding principles. These include funding initiatives that:
Target root causes of problems
Are replicable either within a sector or across geographical locations
Include plans for long-term sustainability
Have secured co-funding
Strive to collaborate with like-minded organizations
Value the participation of people (including children) and communities
The governance practices of freeee foundation are described in its set of documents, including: the vision, mission, program guidelines, Bylaws, and Code of Conduct, which are approved by the Board of Trustees.
The freeee
foundation was established in 2013 jointly by
Chandrabala Sharma and Hiralal Sharma - prominently working in the
field of community service for over a decade. As Co-Chair of
freeee foundation, they have defined its
purpose as “…administering funds for the promotion of the welfare,
comfort, health, education, feeding, clothing, sheltering and
safeguarding of children, youth, women, elderly and disabled,
directly or indirectly, without regard to sex, religion, race,
creed or nationality.…” To guide current and future trustees
and staff, they emphasize on using the money to promote the health,
happiness and well-being of children, youth, women, elderly and
disabled. In addition, there is a great emphasis on
protecting the environment as well.
The foundation receives funds
primarily from contributions received from individuals as well as
businesses, professionals and corporates. It
depends on volunteers and the generosity of people like you to
accomplish our mission. The contributions are
allocated for different projects based on assigned priorities by
the foundation. The name freeee is used under express consent
from freeee.in
Even though freeee.in
and the foundation have a corporate partnership, the
foundation is governed by its own independent board of trustees.
The foundation receives its income primarily from the trust’s
investments.
Chandrabala Sharma, Co-Chair and Trustee
Chandrabala Sharma shapes and approves the foundation’s strategies, reviews results, and sets the overall direction of the organization.
She is actively working for social and community work for over a decade and have assumed higher responsibilitie in conduct and execution of community service projects such as installation of water hut, distribution of notebooks to students, food for hungry, health awareness rallies, distribution of clothes, serving the elderly and disabled. She is also associated with Lions Club of Bombay Malad-Marve as an active member. In addition to managing the affairs of freeee foundation, she is also the immediate past-president of Lions Club Auxiliary - Bombay Malad-Marve. Her association with freeee foundation helps to focus on high-impact sustainable solutions for people.
Hiralal Sharma, Co-Chair and Trustee
Hiralal Sharma shapes and approves foundation strategies, advocates for the foundation’s issues, and sets the organization’s overall direction. He also guides the vision and strategic direction of the foundation in addition to managing the foundation’s key issues.
He is also on Board of tier 1 corporate entities and the immediate past president of Lions Club of Bombay Malad-Marve, which has grown as a most accomplished club during his tenure. He has received several awards in pursuit of excellence in social and community service. He has been instrumental in setting up of dialysis machine, health check-up camps, eye-camps, distribution of food and clothing, distribution of notebooks, food for hungry, plant more trees program, adult leanring centres, cleanliness drive, and the like. His association with freeee foundation helps to partner with individuals, groups, associations, corporates in each of the program areas to build strategic relationships.
Rajlaxmi Acharya, Trustee
Rajlaxmi Acharya oversees and approves the human resource team and aligns services and processes to support the foundation's strategies and efforts.
She is an actively contributor in providing community work for the welfare of child and women upliftment and women empowerment for more than a decade. Her association with local charitable institutions have resulted in enormous support garnered for food for hungry, provision of education to girl child, distribution of food, clothing and essential medical aid to disaster affected people and serving the elderly and disabled to enable them to lead a better life. Her association with freeee foundation helps to concentrate efforts for fulfilment of the foundation's core objectives and direct solutions yielding value-added results.
Dr Laxmikant Acharya, Trustee
Dr Laxmikant Acharya oversees internal and external communications functions and builds awareness of foundation focus areas.
He is a MD (Ayurveda) and has been actively providing healthcare aid to poor and weaker sections of the society to lead a good and healthy life. He is an active contributor in conducting healthcare camps across Rajasthan and at remote locations in Uttar Pradesh. He has been felicitated year after year towards recognition of his service to the community. He has been instrumental in managing health projects, environment awareness, adult learning programs, cleanliness drive and good hygiene. His association with freeee foundation helps to promote awareness of foundation's focus areas and partner with individuals, groups and associations, corporates in each of the program areas.

The freeee foundation is governed by the Board of Trustees which consists of not more than 11 members, with two Co-Chairs and one Managing Trustee. Currently, there are four trustees. The Board of Trustees is generally responsible for overseeing the foundation’s program and funding strategy; budgets, expenditures and appropriation policies and guidelines; and investment strategies, allocations and performance. The Board of Trustees performs its duties through committees that include, but are not limited to: the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Budget and Compensation Committee, Audit Committee and Trusteeship Committee as described in the foundation's bylaws.
We are a quick growing foundation that is here for
service to the society and well being of humanity and the
environment around us.
We started off small like most organizations do, but it surely is not going to take us long to become a organization of choice of many.
